Warranty Coverage
We proudly warranty our STORMTANKER water tanks for 3 years. This begins the date the water tank is manufactured. If our tank is found faulty or defective during that time we will gladly replace it. Our 3 year warranty is only for the tank itself. The tank's brass-ball valves, black bulk-head fittings, and other accessories are not covered by this warranty. We are still confident those parts will last for a long time and so we also warranty the valves and fittings for one year beginning when the customer receives their water tank. If the valves or fittings are faulty or defective we will send replacements parts. If the brass valves are installed incorrectly by the customer or the fittings are altered by the customer then the warranty will not cover these parts. We can replace them but the customer will need to order them from our website or contact us.
To take advantage of our warranty the customer will need to ship the tank to us at their expense if they find it defective. We will inspect the tank for faults and if it is covered by the warranty we will reimburse the customer for the shipping expense and send them their replacement tank.
*It is important that the customer inspects the tank when it is delivered by the freight company. If there is any damage to any part of the tank then it should not be accepted or signed for. They will send it back to us and we can ship a new tank to the customer. Damage done by the freight company during the shipping process is not covered under our warranties. Any damage done to the tank by the customer is not covered by our warranties.*
